What real life experience last made you laugh?
Well on opening night at Michael Connell's show, I Am Super, Man, he has a huge array of experiences to share.
Connell's ability to make the audience laugh at small life events will definitely have you impressed.
Highly entertaining, witty and clean, Connell retells his own experiences which forces the audience to think back and go "Oh yeah, that happened to me too".
A welcome change in Connell's comedic style is he doesn't need to resort to dropping a swear at any point during his performance to draw a laugh, instead relying upon a smart combination of real life experiences, self depreciation, various impressions and dramatic expression.
A young man who is genuinely funny, with a number of reviews claiming him to be a rising local talent. I can without a doubt agree with all these reviews and say with absolute confidence that we will see a lot more from this intelligent and hilarious comedian with a promising career in front of him.
